9. Unbuckle the driver's seat belt.
Check resistance between the No. 1 and No. 2
terminals of the driver's seat belt buckle switch 3P
connector. There should be 0 — 1 Q.
Check resistance between the No. 1 and No. 3
terminals of the same connector. There should be
1 MQ or more.

Are the resistance readings as specified?
Y E S - G o t o step 10.
N O - R e p l a c e the driver's seat belt buckle assembly,
and clear the DTC.B
10. Check resistance between the No. 1 terminal of the
driver's seat wire harness 3P connector and body
ground. There should be 0— 1 Q.

Is the resistance as specified?
Y E S - G o t o step 11.
NO —Open in the driver's seat wire harness or poor
ground connection at G551. If G551 is OK, replace
the faulty h a r n e s s . *
11. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
Does the seat belt reminder stay on?
Y E S - G o t o step 16.
N O - G o t o step 12.
