Connecting Hardware Devices

Slide the EPS-R cage about 4 inches from the rear of server chassis to allow room
to attach the optional expansion cover plate to the EPS-R cage.

Position the expansion cover plate on the EPS-R cage and secure with four screws.

Slide the EPS-R cage back into the server chassis and secure it with three screws.

Remove and save the two installed device bay spacers by pressing the rail latches
inward, then lifting the spacer from the bay.
Be sure to save the removed device bay spacer for possible future use should a
device be removed for any reason.

Remove a set of rails from one of the device bay spacers.
