If the server also has a redundant exhaust fan installed, remove it by disengaging
the two hooks of the exhaust fan module.
Removing the redundant exhaust fan module
The primary exhaust fan is directly fitted inside the fan duct. See the illustration

Remove the primary exhaust fan from the exhaust fan module, and replace it with a
new fan.

Position the exhaust fan module in the server and secure it to the chassis with two
screws.
