Carefully separate the front and back of the LCD panel assembly.
Caution
The fingerprint reader cable connects the two halves. Lay the front of the LCD
panel assembly beside the back half.
Remove the two screws connecting the LCD rotating latch to the LCD lid.
Screw
Remove the old LCD rotating latch.
Place the new LCD rotating latch into the LCD lid.
