Event Menu

The Event Menu contains parameters that control connected
sensor inputs and how events are recorded.
Sensor
The Sensor menu controls each sensor
input that triggers events. The DVR
supports up to eight inputs and can
configure each one individually.
Use the remote control to configure
the following for each individual input:
ENABLE: Select ON to enable this
sensor for input. Select OFF to disable
it.
NAME: Press Enter on the remote
control to display an on-screen
keyboard and enter the name for this
sensor here.
OSD: Press Enter on the remote control
to display an on-screen keyboard and
enter an abbreviated or truncated
name of the sensor here. This name
appears in the OSD while reviewing
video in Foresight SD.
SET: Select LOW for low to high (normally closed, NC), or
select HIGH for high to low (normally open, NO).
ALARM: Select ON to enable the ALM LED on the front of the
DVR when a sensor is triggered and marks video as "R" so
that it can be automatically downloaded (see page 13). This
LED continues to flash after an event is triggered until the
configuration menus are accessed.
LOCK: Select ON to lock the video of the event recorded
when this sensor is triggered (not allowing it to be
overwritten).
OBSERVER 4000 USER GUIDE
