PDT 3400 Demo Database

The default PDT 3400 Demo Database stored in the PDT 3400 initially contains bar code,
description, price, and quantity in stock for the data provided below. As data is entered
through the Data Entry Demo, it is appended to this database and is available for both the
Data Entry Demo and the Price Check Demo.
Appended data is maintained in the database until one of the following events occurs:
1. Power is removed (both power supply and battery) for over 15 minutes
2. The database file located on the RAM disk is deleted.

Operating the Feature
Verifies cradle contacts.

Scroll using to select the test.
Insert PDT 3400 in office cradle and verify
"office".
Insert PDT 3400 in vehicle cradle and verify
"vehicle".
Displays the unique electronic serial ID of unit.

Scroll using to select the test.
Press ENTER. The unit's serial number is
displayed.
Calibrates resistive overlay on screen for
signature capture.

Scroll using to select the test.
Touch upper left + with stylus and listen for
a beep.
Touch lower right + with stylus and listen
for a beep.
Returns to Operating Menu
