The MC50 includes sample and demo applications to assist in application development.

Symbol applications.

Getting Started

Before using the mobile computer for the first time:
• install the main battery
• charge the main battery and backup battery
• start the mobile computer
• configure the mobile computer.
Charge the main battery before or after it is installed. Use one of the spare battery chargers to charge the main battery (out of the
mobile computer), or one of the cradles to charge the main battery installed in the mobile computer.

Charges the mobile computer main battery and a spare battery, and synchronizes the mobile computer with
a host computer through a USB connection.
Charges up to four mobile computers, and synchronizes the mobile computer with a host computer through
a USB connection.
Charges up to four mobile computers, synchronizes the mobile computer with a host computer through an
Ethernet connection, and networks the mobile computer via an Ethernet hub.
Charges up to four mobile computer spare batteries.
Snaps on to the mobile computer and adds magstripe reading capabilities.
Provides added protection for the mobile computer.
For audio playback in noisy environments.
Snap-on required to connect the following cables to the mobile computer:
Used with the CAM to charge the mobile computer.
Used with the CAM to charge the mobile computer using a vehicle's power port.
Used with the CAM to add USB communication capabilities.
Adapts the UBC for use with MC50 batteries.
A development tool used to create native C and C++ applications for all Symbol mobile computers running
the Microsoft Windows Mobile 2003 Software for Pocket PCs operating system.
