Terminal Configuration: Running BIOS Setup
PDT 3400 BIOS Utility
Run the Setup Utility in the following circumstances:
t
out of the box, when CMOS is empty and the default parameters set by the BIOS are
not satisfactory.
t
once all software is loaded, to review the PDT 3400's operating parameters.
t
when power (battery or power supply) is removed for more than 15 minutes, because
the PDT 3400 returns to "out of box" default values.
The Setup Utility is incorporated in the Flash ROM BIOS and performs a standard and a
default setup function.
