4.4 Optional PCMCIA Card
Removing an Optional PCMCIA Card
To remove an optional PCMCIA card, follow the steps below and refer to Figures 4-7 and
4-8.
1. Turn off the power to the computer, then disconnect the AC power cord and all
external cables connected to the computer.
2. Remove the battery pack as described in Section 4.2.
3. Pull open the slot cover (Figure 4-7).
4. Press the eject button to pop the card out slightly and remove it (Figure 4-8).
