The RAID Controller Module
The RAID controller module that came with your subsystem contains
a controller board, a BBU module bay, an interface faceplate, and a
pre-installed 512MB DIMM module. (See the figures above) The
docking connectors at the rear of the controller boards connect the
controller module to the backplane board.
WARNING!
D
Although the RAID controller can be removed, you should touch the
o
controller itself ONLY when you need to install or replace the
c
memory modules. The controller is built of sensitive components
k
and unnecessary tampering can damage it.
