PART ARMING THE SYSTEM
If you are remaining in the premises, you may Arm
only the PIR Detectors, and Magnetic Contact
Detectors with miniature switches 9 and 10 set to
'ON', by selecting 'Part Arm'. This will permit free
access to areas where the Detectors are NOT set to
operate on Part Arm.
To Part Arm the system hinge open the keypad cover,

then close the keypad cover.
The exit tone emitted when the
will be the same as when fully arming the system
and is dependant on the setting of miniature switch
number 9 in the Control Unit. The system will set on
'Part Arm' on expiry of the preset exit time.
All occupants must leave any protected areas before
expiry of the exit time. If for any reason you are unable
to leave the protected areas within the exit time, you
will need to disarm the system then re-arm. Failure to
do so will cause a Full Alarm if any protected door is
opened or movement is detected by a Passive Infra
Red Detector set to operate in Part Arm.
Note: When set on 'Part Arm' the Control Unit top
green light will be flashing. (See page 3).
DISARMING THE SYSTEM
Upon entering the premises or protected area, the
entry tone will be emitted from the control unit sounder
(Continuous or Semi-Silent).
You should proceed immediately to the Control Unit and

DISARMING AFTER AN ALARM
ACTIVATION
A Full Alarm condition (Control Unit Siren and External
Siren operating), will be initiated following any intrusion or
Tamper/Personal Attack Activation. This condition will
continue until expiry of the preset alarm 'Auto Stop' time,
whereby the External Siren and Control Unit Siren will
cease. The Control Unit will now immediately re-arm
itself. In the event of a further intrusion/activation the
control unit will once again initiate a Full Alarm condition,
and the above process is repeated.
If a Full Alarm condition is initiated accidently,

CONTROL UNIT OFF/ON MODE
To prevent the alarm from being activated when either
opening the Control Unit or removing a battery cover
from a Detector, it is necessary to first enter the Control
Unit OFF/ON code:
The green 'Power On' indicator will now extinguish.
When you have completed your alterations, turn the
control unit back 'ON' by re-entering the OFF/ON
code as above. The green 'Power On' indicator will
now illuminate and the system is ready for operation.
PERSONAL ATTACK ALARM
A Full Alarm condition can be initiated by the user at
any time (system armed or disarmed) in the event of
threat or danger. To initiate an alarm press and hold
and
buttons on the Control Unit keypad
for more than 2 seconds.
The Control Unit Siren will emit a two tone 'Tamper'

at the Control Unit.

BATTERY MONITORING

The system will continuously monitor the battery
condition of all PIR & Magnetic Contact Detectors. If the
voltage level of any battery falls unacceptably low a radio
signal will automatically be transmitted to the Control
Unit and the yellow 'Low Battery' light will flash.
To identify a PIR Detector with a low battery, leave each
protected area for at least 40 seconds. If, when you re-
enter the area the PIR LED flashes on detection of
movement, this indicates a low battery.
The batteries in the Magnetic Contact Detectors can be
checked by operating the Detector (opening and closing
the protected door/window) and observing the LED on
the detector. If the LED is dim or does not illuminate the
battery needs to be replaced.
