Disconnecting a Chassis from the OS-BPS

When disconnecting an OS6860 switch from the OS-BPS, first disconnect the DB25 connector cable
between the OS-BPS and the switch, then disconnect the primary power supply for the OS6860.

Removing System Power Supplies

1
When removing a power supply, first disconnect the power cord from the power source. Once the
power cord is disconnected, pull the power cord out of the power supply housing.
2
Pressing the lock tab toward the right, as shown, will free the power supply from the chassis. While
pressing the lock tab, pull the power supply straight back and out of the chassis slot.
Note. If you are not replacing the power supply, be sure to install a blank cover panel over the empty
power supply bay.
