    2.1.2 Monitoring hardware The only way to monitor the OA5725R router family hardware is through the LEDs on the front panel. The LEDs provide visual information on what is happening in the router. These indicate the status of the hardware components, if there is connection or not, data flow, etc.

    This configuration means you can use diverse techniques to improve the quality of the radio con- nection (valid for HSDPA, HSUPA, HSPA+ and LTE technologies). Installing an antenna in the OA5725R routers is necessary to improve the quality of the signal received and transmit- ted by the WWAN module (GPRS, UMTS, HSDPA, HSUPA, etc.).

    A.3.1 Connecting through the local console (CONF connector) The OA5725R routers have a DB-9 female connector on the front panel known as “ CONF.” , which provides access to the device local console. In order to configure this, you must connect the “ CONF.” port to an asynchronous termin- al (or to a PC with terminal emulation).
