4E-53 ABS:
Step
3 1) Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2) Lift and support the fuel tank with the prop stay. Refer to
"Fuel Tank Removal and Installation in Section 1G in
related manual".
3) Check the ABS control unit coupler for loose or poor
contacts. If OK, then disconnect the ABS control unit
coupler. Refer to "ABS Control Unit Coupler Disconnect
and Connect (GSX1300BKAK8) (Page 4E-9)".
4) Install the fuel tank and lift and support the fuel tank with
the prop stay. Refer to "Fuel Tank Removal and
Installation in Section 1G in related manual".
5) Start the engine at 5 000 r/min with the dimmer switch
set to HI.
6) Measure the voltage between "18" (O/Y) and "4" (B/W)
at the coupler.
Special tool
(A): 09900–25008 (Multi-circuit tester set)
(B): 09900–25009 (Needle pointed probe set)
