ABS Control Unit Description (GSX1300BKAK8)

ABS control unit (1) calculates signals input from each one of front and rear wheel speed sensors, monitors the
slipping conditions of the wheels and, at the same time, sends control signal to Hydraulic Unit (HU) (2).
This ABS control unit/HU can not be disassembled.
ABS Control Unit Calculating Process
The ABS controls and its calculations, in addition to the self-diagnosing and the fail-safe processes, occur during the
ABS control unit calculating process. In addition, if a malfunction is detected by the self-diagnosis function, the brake
stops being controlled by the ABS and a diagnostic trouble code is stored.
