Create a rhythm pattern using
step input
After preparing, you can input notes one
at a time (step input) to create a rhythm
pattern.

Start input.
Press

Move the cursor to the position where
you want to input or delete notes.
Go back one beat
Advance one beat
The horizontal axis shows the bars and
the vertical access shows the pads by
number. One step (one box) is the length
of the quantize setting.

Play the pads to input notes at the
current position. The volume of each
note will correspond to the strength it is
played (unless sensitivity set otherwise).
Press ENTER to add a note with a
xed volume level at that position.
Move cursor

Delete a note or change its volume.
Press
beneath
an input note.
Turn to change the volume of the
note at that position.
Loud (high velocity)
Quiet (low velocity)

End input.
Press
NOTE
• Notes at locations that are between the current
quantize settings cannot be deleted. A note at
such a position appear as an "X".
• In Step 4, you can also use the dial to input and
delete notes.
