Disable Time Shifting
To disable the Time Shifting feature, scroll down using the arrow buttons until 'LVDEOH 7LPH

In this mode, reception of live TV signals continues as before. The Digital VCR card still func-
tions as a TV tuner card. But, since there is no disk activity, there is no Time Shift buffer. You
can watch the live TV signal, select programs from the remote control, or watch a prerecorded
program. Recording of live programs or future scheduled programs operates as before; the
Time Shift buffer does not impact the recording functions.

Enable Time Shifting
Once you have disabled the Time Shifting feature, it can be enabled again by returning to the
Options page, available from the Main Menu. The menu text will now read (QDEOH 7LPH 6KLIW
LQJ instead of 'LVDEOH 7LPH 6KLIWLQJ. Using the arrow buttons, scroll down to select (QDEOH
7LPH 6KLIWLQJ, and then press

In addition, if you are watching live TV while Time Shifting is disabled, pressing the
ton on the remote control will cause a warning message to appear on screen. This will give you
the opportunity to immediately enable Time Shifting. When the dialog appears select
enable Time Shifting.
