Up/Down Arrows - as cursors
The Up/Down arrows are used as cursor controls to move between fields when viewing the
Main Menu, or when setting up recording preferences. When live TV or a prerecorded show are
paused, the up/down arrows can be used to select a Thumbnail.
Channel Up/Down Arrows
Pressing a Channel Up/Down arrow while viewing live TV will select the next channel in your
list of available channels. Pressing a Channel Up/Down arrow while a prerecorded program is
playing will pause the recorded show and switch to the live TV signal.
Left/Right Arrows - as cursors
When viewing the Main Menu pages, or other editable fields, the Left/Right arrows move the
cursor between fields. In a list, the arrows function as page up and page down buttons. When
a live TV program or a prerecorded show is paused, the left/right arrows can be used to select
a Thumbnail.
Volume Up/Down Arrows
The Left/Right arrows can also control volume. The Volume Up/Down arrows can be used
whenever a live TV or recorded program is playing. Pressing the arrows will change the play-
back volume in 5% increments. The current volume setting is displayed on screen when you
press either volume arrow button.
