Using the Remote Control
Battery Installation
The Creative Digital VCR remote control requires two AAA 1.5-volt batteries to operate.
To install batteries:
1. Open the hatch on the rear of the remote control by pulling downward.
2. Insert two AAA batteries, making sure to align the batteries according to the +/- polarity
markings shown on the inside of the remote control case.
3. Replace the battery hatch by sliding it into position until it clicks.
Your remote control is now ready to use.
The Software Remote Control
In addition to the hardware remote control, there is an on-screen software version of the
remote control. All functions described below for the hardware remote control apply to the soft-
ware version. Using the mouse to press any of the virtual buttons is equal to pressing the same
button on the hardware remote control.
Open the Software Remote
To open the software remote control, use the $OW7DE key combination to rotate through the
available open windows until you come to 5HPRWH &RQWURO. You can switch back to the main
application using the Alt+Tab key combination again.
