recycled is placed into this special folder until the hard disk space is needed for additional
recordings, or until you empty the recycle folder manually.
To delete a show:
1. Scroll with the up/down arrows to select a show.
2. Press the
recycle folder.
3. You will be prompted with a confirmation dialog box, giving you a chance to change your
mind or cancel an incorrect selection.
4. Scroll with the left/right arrow keys to select <HV or 1R in the dialog box, and then press

on your remote control to complete the action.

Once a program file is recycled, the disk space becomes available for use again.
Deleting Shows in the Recycle Folder
Shows in the Recycle folder will be reclaimed automatically as you schedule new recordings.
However, if you want to clear items from the Recycle Folder immediately, you can do so at any
time.
To manually delete the contents of the recycle folder, follow these steps:
1. From the Main Menu, select the 5HFRUGHG 6KRZV entry.
2. Press the

4. Select the 5HF\FOHG folder from the list.

Removing Shows from the Recycle Folder
A show in the Recycle folder can be restored to its previous status in case it is recycled acci-
dentally.
To restore a show:
1. Select the 5HF\FOHG folder from the list on the Recorded Shows page.

4. Select a show to be restored.

7. Select <HV to confirm the restoration process or select 1R to cancel.
The restored show will be returned to the category from which it was deleted.
