close the GUI window. The left panel of the GUI lists these options (see
Figure 3-1 on page 3-2).

BEFORE USING THE PROGRAM

Before opening the Express Configuration program, ensure that the
Express 3100 is properly connected to your computer and that it is
powered on. Also, exit any applications that may be using the Express
3100.

OPENING THE PROGRAM

Open the Express Configuration program in the manner appropriate
to your system. Once the program opens, you can begin using it im-
mediately.
