Symptom
Configuration file is not being
loaded into the gateway.
Problem
The gateway is not directed at
the correct boot server.
The configuration file contains
hidden characters that the
gateway cannot process.

Corrective Action
•
Ensure through your web or TFTP
server logs that the gateway attempts
to copy the file. If this is not appearing
in the logs, then ensure that you point
the gateway to the correct boot server.
•
The WEBUI debug log will also
indicate if a configuration file failed to
load. The debug log will indicate the
TFTP server it is using and the file
path of the configuration file. Ensure
these are correct. The number of
configurations parsed indicates the
number of configurations lines are
actually taking effect.
When creating or editing the configuration
file, use a standard text editing tool (like
NotePad). XML editors, Microsoft Word,
and other types of editors may leave
extended characters that are hidden.
