Care, cleaning and maintenance
– Use the scraper to remove ash from underneath the coasting surface into the ash pan – Fig. 132.

Assembly:
– Clean away all ash, the coasting surface cover should fit/seal tightly.
– Position the coasting surface cover and turn the handle as far as it will go in a clockwise direction.
– Push the ash pan into place.
– Close the combustion chamber door and the cladding door and switch the BioWIN 2 back on with the ON/OFF
button.
– Confirm cleaning request once "Cleaning" has been finished – see section. 3.1.1.

3.5 Empty the ash box - BioWIN 2 Exklusiv (BWE)

Attention!
Do not open the combustion chamber door during operation. Always switch the boiler off first with
the ON/OFF button and wait until burnout mode has finished.
Risk of fire if ash hasn't cooled! Store ash in lockable and non-combustible container on non-
combustible base for at least 48 hours.
Note!
Small amounts of ash can be used in the garden as fertiliser. Larger amounts of ash should be
disposed of together with other residual waste (please observe the applicable regulations).
– Switch off the BioWIN 2 with the ON/OFF button on the InfoWINplus (Fig. 133) and wait until the display has
gone out (ca. 20 min).
– Open cladding door and combustion chamber door – Fig. 134 – see section 2.1.
– Pull handle on ash container out until stop is reached so that the side openings in the ash container are sealed
