2. Operation

2.10 Heating system operation

The BioWIN 2 should not be switched off with the On/Off switch
power supply via the power plug. The heating system should be shut down by switching it off at the control system
(see section 2.10.1 and 2.10.2).

The anti-freeze function is not active when the boiler is shut off (ON/OFF button

The block protection for cleaning the heating surfaces and for the ash conveyor (is switched on

2.10.1 BioWIN 2 with MESplus system control

Information!
For operation of the MESplus and related user modules, please see their respective Operating
instructions.
Boiler switching on, MESplus system control to automatic operation:
1. Press the ON/OFF button
lamp lights green and a self-test is performed (see also section 2.6.2). After a successful self-test and if a
setpoint is transferred by the system control, the BioWIN 2 automatically starts operation.
2. Set the operating mode switch(es) on the MESplus control module(s) to "Automatic operation"
