Wait for the PCS 580 to communicate with the telephone system.

When the log in is complete your Idle Page will appear. If this is the SpliceCom logo your
User Name and extension number will be displayed.
Please note: if the SpliceCom logo is not set as your Idle Page the logged in user's details can be viewed
via the Phone Information page accessed by pressing the Settings button
page 62 for further details.
If a User is not logged on to the handset you wish to use the Login screen will be displayed. Follow steps 3
to 6 to log in.
Log off

From the Idle page, press the Settings button once.

Press the Logout button

Press the Login button and the handset will return to the assigned User or the Login screen
will be displayed.
Please note that your User account may be configured to automatically log you off after the handset you
are logged on to is not used for a specified amount of time. This is useful if you forget to manually log off.

Extension Anywhere Number
The Extension Anywhere Number enables you to receive and make calls from your home or mobile
telephone, for example, as though you were in the office. This means that your callers or recipients of
your calls will be unaware that you are working at home, for example. You will not incur call charges and
you will be able to handle calls as if you were in the office, eg transfer calls. This is also called Remote
PSTN. Please note that the use of this feature is controlled by your System Administrator, please refer to
your System Administration for further details.
