EXTERIOR LIGHTING
Symptom:

FCM-FRONT LEFT TURN OUTPUT CIRCUIT LOW

INTERMITTENT CONDITION
LEFT FRONT TURN LAMP DRIVER CIRCUIT SHORT TO GROUND
FRONT CONTROL MODULE
POWER DISTRIBUTION CENTER
TEST
1
Turn the ignition on.
With the DRBIII , clear all FCM DTC's.
Turn the Left Front Turn Signal on.
With the DRBIII , read the DTC information.
Does the DRBIII read: Front Left Turn Output Circuit Low?
Yes → Go To 2
→ The condition that caused the symptom is currently not present.
No

Turn the ignition off.
Disconnect the IPM C3 harness connector.
Measure the resistance between ground and the Left Front Turn Lamp Driver circuit.
Is the resistance below 5.0 ohms?
Yes → Go To 3
→ Repair the Left Front Turn Lamp Driver circuit for a short to
No
3
Turn the ignition off
Disconnect the FCM connector.
Disconnect the IPM C3 harness connector.
Measure the resistance between ground and the Left Front Turn Lamp Driver circuit
in the IPM.
Is the resistance below 5.0 ohms?
Yes → Replace the Power Distribution Center(PDC).
→ Replace the Front Control Module.
No
POSSIBLE CAUSES
ACTION
Inspect the related wiring for a possible intermittent condition.
Look for any chafed, pierced, pinched, or partially broken wires.
Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.
ground.
Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.
Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.
Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.
