TEST
1 Turn the ignition on.
With the DRBIII , select SYSTEM MONITORS, then J1850 Module Scan..
Does the DRBIII display PCM Active on the Bus?
Yes → Go To 2
→ Refer to COMMUNICATION category for the related symptom.
No
2 Turn the ignition on.
With the DRBIII , select Electro/Mechanical Instrument Cluster.
Is there a response from the Instrument Cluster?
Yes → Replace and configure the CMTC in accordance with the Service
→ Refer to COMMUNICATION category for the related symptom.
No
