BRAKE SYSTEM
Remove the snap ring using the special tool
TOOL
Snap ring pliers 07914

S A W 0 1
Remove the following:
-
push rod assembly
-
master piston assembly
-
spring
Check the spring and replace
if
necessary.
INSPECTION
Check the boot, primary cup and secondary cup for fatigue
or damage.
Check the master cylinder and piston for scoring, scratches
or other damage.
Replace if necessary.
NOTE:
Replace the piston assembly and spring as a set if dam-
aged.
Measure the master cylinder bore I.D.
SERVICE LIMIT: 12.755 m m (0.5022 in)
Measure the master piston O.D.
SERVICE LIMIT 12.645 m m (0.4978 in)
