Cleaning the Inside of the MultiPASS L90
To prevent toner powder and paper dust from accumulating and affecting the
quality of the unit's printing, clean the inside of the unit periodically as follows:
When you unplug the unit, be sure to plug it in again as soon as possible: without
power, it will retain any data in image memory for about an hour. After this, the
data will be lost.
1. Unplug the unit.
2. Open the printer cover.
3. Remove the toner cartridge.
Store the cartridge in its protective bag to avoid exposure to light.
4. Use a clean, soft, dry, lint-free cloth to remove any toner or paper debris from
the shaded area.
Black Roller
Do not touch the black roller at the back, as this may affect the print quality of
your faxes.
5. Replace the toner cartridge.
6. Close the printer cover.
7. Plug the unit back in.
