While the unit is warming up, the following message appears in the LCD display:

When connecting the unit for the first time, the date display alternates with the
following message:
See "The Toner Cartridge" on the following pages for details on installing the
toner cartridge.
If face-up delivery is selected, the LCD will display FACE UP PRINT OUT
alternately with the other displays. See page 7-8 for details on selecting paper
delivery.
Chapter 2
The MultiPASS L90 has no power switch, so its power is on as soon as you
plug it in. Once powered up, though, the unit still needs to warm up before
you can use it.
Depending on the number of pages accumulated in the MultiPASS L90
memory, it can take up to four minutes for the unit to warm up.
