An autopilot
malfunction
during
climb,
cruise
or descent

delay in
recovery
initiation
could
result
in
as
much
as
58° of bank
and
a
400 foot
altitude
loss.

An autopilot
malfunction
during
an approach
with
a
I second
delay
in
recovery
initiation
could
result in
as
much
as
15° of
bank and
60 foot
altitude
loss. Maximum
altitude
loss mea-
sured
in
approach
configuration
and
operating
cither
coupled
or uncoupled.
