IPedge Enterprise Manager (Ent. Mgr.) – The Ent. Mgr.
system administration program is resident on all IPedge
servers. Only the Ent. Mgr. on the Primary node is used to
administer the nodes of the system

When a member node is manually removed (detached) from its IPedge
primary node, it no longer exists from the viewpoint of the Enterprise
Manager in the primary node.
When a node is detached it can still be connected to the rest of the
Enterprise System via IPedge Net but is no longer part of the central
administration. The database copy is no longer maintained at the central
node. To access the database an Admin Terminal will connect to the
Enterprise Manager in the detached system. However, the detached node
must be changed to primary node. The detached system will not accept
