Print Shift Correction
Print gaps can occur when doing bidirectional printing, due to changes in the weight of
the BJ cartridge and mechanical errors. This gap is corrected by adjusting the carriage
drive motor load and the carriage position, which is determined logically from the
NOTE
number of stepping pulses. Gap detection is performed before the start of printing,
during the home position detection operation.
