Transmitter Modes

T
hroughout world, pilots will fly using radios in different Modes. The Mode
refers to the transmitter's gimbal stick assignments which determine the flight
mode of your controller. There are two main modes of control. Mode 1,
mostly used in Europe and Mode 2 which is the predominant method of
controlling aircraft.
Mode 1-
A controller which is designated as Mode 1 means that it contains the throttle and
aileron on the right stick. The left stick will, therefore, control the elevator and rudder.
Elevator
Mode 2-
A controller which is designated as Mode 2 will have the left stick controlling the
throttle and the rudder. Conversely, the right stick will control the elevator and the
ailerons.
