Onboard Cameras-
Depending on the aircraft, there may be additional cameras available on and around
the aircraft, looking at a variety of different directions and perspectives. For example,
the P-51 Mustang is equipped with three onboard cameras that include:
• Cockpit – This camera is placed inside the P-51 cockpit, looking forward,
much like sitting in a real aircraft.
"intelligence", moving and rotating based on the current aircraft motion or
movement.
• Rear – This camera angle is positioned slightly above the nose of the airplane,
looking rearward towards the cockpit and tail.
• Tail – Positioned at the top of the vertical stabilizer, this camera looks forward
towards the nose of the airplane.
• Wing – Positioned at the tip of the port-side wing, looking back at the cockpit.
For example, during normal flight, the cockpit camera will try to predict and
look in the direction the aircraft is likely to fly. If you were to fly a knife edge
maneuver, the camera will look down towards the ground.
During combat events, this camera will attempt to look at the player you have
targeted.
Onboard cameras can be added and modified much like other parts of the aircraft.
