• Internet – This option will publish your session on the RealFlight List
Server, so anyone in the world can connect to you.
• LAN – Short for "Local Area Network", choose LAN if you wish to
host a multiplayer session on your local home or work network. For
others to join, they must also connect from the same local network.
This option will not list your session on the RealFlight List Server.
With the Host Information dialog window open, you may click the Advanced
Hosting Options arrows for additional options. Some of these options are
also accessible from the Multiplayer menu, after the multiplayer session has
already been started.
Password Protection-
Should you wish to host a private multiplayer session, you may choose to set a
password to prevent others from joining. If you choose to do so, you will
need to share this password with the people you want to join.
To enable and set the password, check the box to the left to activate the
password field then, enter the desired password accordingly.
Use a Game List-
Check this box to enable the different Game List options. This will allow you
to automatically run a Game List at the start of the multiplayer session. When
enabled, the available options are:
Game List – This drop-down box shows all Game Lists available. If you want
to manage or create a new customized list, click the "..." next to the drop-
down.
Execute – This determines the order on which each contest is loaded in the
Game List.
These options are also available from the Multiplayer menu if you wish to
select them at a later time. For more information about Game Lists, turn to
page 222.
Manage Ban List-
Click this button to display the Ban List dialog window. This option is also
available from the Multiplayer menu. See page 225 for more information.

Port numbers-

If you are connected to the internet behind a firewall or a router, you might need to
open up access to a certain range of port numbers. RealFlight 7 looks for an open port
from 61234 to 61241 by default. For more information on how to open these ports,
please refer to your firewall or router's manual.
