Using the SCSI Configuration Utility

Using the SCSI Configuration Utility
The Symbios Logic SCSI Configuration Utility lets you view and change
the default configuration for your host adapter and all SCSI devices
connected to it, or for individual SCSI devices.
This utility is a powerful tool and is intended for advanced users only.
If, while using it, you accidentally disable all your controllers, pressing
+
during the power-on self test (after the memory test) lets

you recover and configure settings.

Default Settings You Can Change

The following two tables show the configuration settings you can
change. The first table shows the global settings which impact your
host adapter and all SCSI devices connected to it. Be very careful if you
change any of these settings. The second table shows the device
settings which apply to individual devices.
