    Due to the particular radio pattern of the dipole antennas, the antennas should not be placed just above potential positions of ClickShare users. As a result, the advised position for the antennas is at the side of the meeting room.

    About an iOS device connection The ClickShare Link allows users to get the content from an iOS device touchscreen to the large meeting room screen. The iOS device behaves like an additional laptop. Note that the ClickShare Link only streams video, sound is not supported.

By calibrating the Link, we make sure that the Apple TV menu is not shown in the ClickShare composition. iOS content will only be shown when an iOS device is actually sharing via AirPlay.

    ClickShare Base Unit. This is where the ClickShare Network Integration comes in. Once fully configured and enabled the built-in AP of the Base Unit will be disabled and the Button will instead connect to a wireless access point which is part of the corporate network. At this point the Base Unit will need to be connected to the corporate network via the wired Ethernet interface in order for the Buttons to be able to share their content on the Base Unit.

How this is done depends on your IT infrastructure. When the Launcher service is pre-installed, a launcher application runs in the background.     About The ClickShare Client for Linux consists of two main parts. The first part is the Client itself. The second part is the ClickShare- Launcher. The launcher is installed as a background application that will start the Client from the moment a button is inserted.

    When both, ClickShare and Polycom systems are installed in a meeting room, typically the video output of the ClickShare Base Unit is connected to the Polycom unit as a source input. In this case, a user can share content using ClickShare, which is then shown on the Polycom system.

From that moment on, if content coming from ClickShare is taken out from the display by the Polycom unit , all ClickShare Buttons that are currently sharing content will go to Ready to Share mode and the ClickShare Base Unit will go to the standby mode.

    Start up Due to the complexity of the ClickShare Network Integration feature, you must activate it first. To activate, go to the Corporate Network tab and click on the button which brings you to a request page. Enter the details regarding your ClickShare deployment and network configuration.

When implemented using client certificates, EAP-TLS is considered one of the most secure EAP methods. The only minor disadvantage is that the user identity is transmitted in the clear before the actual TLS handshake is performed.

    Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS) is a communications protocol for secure communication over the network with the ClickShare Base unit. The security is based on the underlaying security capabilities of SSL/TLS. It uses long-term public and secret keys to exchange a short term session key to encrypt the data flow between the computer and the Base unit.
