5-6. Threading the gimp

Remove the work clamp plates (refer to page 24), and then thread the gimp as shown in the illustration below.
Once threading is complete, replace the work clamp plates.

1. Insert the material so that it touches the right and left cloth guides q.
2. The sewing margin can be adjusted to within 10 - 30 mm.
3. Loosen the screws w at left and right and move the cloth guides q back and forth to adjust the sewing margin.

of the thread tension stud q.
