Wait at least 5 minutes after turning off the power switch and disconnecting the power cord from the wall
outlet before opening the face plate of the control box. Touching areas where high voltages are present can
result in severe injury.
Turn off the power switch and disconnect the power cord before installing any optional parts, otherwise the
machine will operate if the treadle is pressed by mistake, which could result in injury.

CAUTION
1. Install the select switch q together with the hand start

switch w with the two screws e in the position shown
in the illustration.
2. Pass the cables through the cable hole r in the work
table.
3. Open the front cover t of the control box, and then
pass the cable through the hole at the right.
4. Insert the connector y in the position shown in the
illustration.
5. Secure the cable with the cable clamp as shown in the
illustration.
