1. After disconnecting air tubes ¤0 and ¤1 , insert the two
plugs e into joints q and w. In addition, remove parts

2. Remove the screws u from feed bracket cover (L) i,
and then install feed base (L) o.

3. Remove the screws !0 from feed bracket cover (R) !1 ,
and then install feed base (R) !2 .

4. Pass the cloth feed bar !3 between the rollers of feed
bar guide (R) !4 and feed bar guide (L) !5 , and place it

on top of feed base (L) o and feed base (R) !2 .

* Push down the chuck pin !6 and check that it goes
4.
smoothly into all of the holes in the cloth feed bar !3 .

4. * If it does not go in smoothly, re-adjust the installation
positions of feed base (L) o and feed base (R) !2 .
