1.5.8 Inspection on Input Signal Identification

Purpose of inspection: Confirming that a normal display is obtainable for each signal input.
1) According to the table below, make setting of the input connector and the signal, and enter a signal input.

2) When a screen is displayed, visually check whether the display is free from abnormality.
(Freedom from any extreme displacement in position, size, and phase, flickering in the screen, and
extreme color deterioration)
3) Change over the input port to the ANALOG INPUT of INPUT2.
According to the table below, make setting of the signal, and enter a signal input.

4) By the signal 34, it checks that OSM of "OUT OF RANGE" is displayed.
5) Return the setting of input port to INPUT1 and change the connection with the VG-819 to the
COMPOSITE mode. (Pull out the BNC connectors H and V on the VG-819 side and connect the H cable
to the CS connector.)
6) According to the table below, make setting of the signal, and enter a signal input. Make confirmation in
the same manner as described in 2) above.
