Line Outputs
The 16 Line outputs are wired as shown and are fully balanced allowing long cable
runs to other equipment. If connecting to un-balanced destinations the Signal –
(cold) pin should be grounded.
AES Output:
This is a balanced 2-channel digital output using a single XLR wired as per the
balanced line outputs. Although it is possible to use standard balanced audio
cable with AES signals it is recommended to use AES cable which has the correct
110R impedance.
Headphones
The PHONES output is a 3-pole 6.35mm (1/4") jack, wired as a stereo output
as shown, ideally for headphones of 32Ω or greater; 8Ω headphones are not
recommended. The headphone socket is found under the front edge, close to
fader 1.
MIDI IN & OUT
This is a standard 5-pin 1800 DIN connector conforming to the MIDI standard
as shown.
