Storage Media
Following storage media are available
one 3.5" SATA- hard disk or
two 2.5" SATA- hard disks or
one or two 2.5" solid state drives.
A solid state drive is a data storage drive that uses memory elements in
place of a rotating disk to store data. The SSD can substitute the hard disk
and emulates a hard disk drive interface. The most SSDs are flash memory
based.
Change of one 3.5" Data Store
First ensure that the device is switched off and that the power connector is
disconnected.
Open the BEETLE /M-III (see chapter "Opening BEETLE /M-III").
Lift up the carrier. Loosen the connecting cables.
