Description
CONFIG.SYS command. Allows instructions in
one conÞguration block to be included with
instructions in another conÞguration block.
Loads terminate-and-stay resident (TSR) programs
during CONFIG.SYS processing.
Sets the maximum number of drives.
Sets the default menu item choice and time-out
value for making a selection.
SpeciÞes an item to be placed in the startup menu
displayed during system boot.
MaKe DIRectory (also MD). Creates a new
subdirectory.
Allows continuation of CONFIG.SYS processing
from a new Þle.
Displays current command search path(s). A new
path line can be speciÞed.
Batch subcommand. Causes execution to halt until
a key is pressed.
Prints a list of Þles, up to ten Þles.
Resets the appearance of the system prompt line.
REMark. A batch subcommand for identifying
nonexecuting lines.
REName. Renames Þles.
ReMove DIRectory (also RM). Deletes a speciÞed
subdirectory.
Sets environment variables and command
processor strings.
Installs the capabilities for Þle sharing and Þle
locking on your hard disk.
