Purpose
Displays the contents of a text Þle on the screen.
Syntax
TYPE [ d: ][ path ] filename
Remarks
If a Þle containing formatting codes or other non-alphanumeric characters is
displayed with TYPE, you will see unintelligible characters and possibly hear
beeps. This will not harm the system.
Examples
To display the AUTOEXEC.BAT Þle on drive A, enter:
TYPE A:AUTOEXEC.BAT
