Purpose
Display the volume label on a speciÞed disk.
Syntax
VOL [ d: ]
Remarks
If you do not specify a drive, then the default drive is assumed. VOL does not
allow the setting of volume labels. Refer to the LABEL command for instructions
on setting the volume labels.
Examples
A>VOL
The above will cause ROM-DOS to display the volume label on the default drive
which is the A: drive.
A>VOL C:
The above will cause ROM-DOS to display the volume label on the C: drive.
