Two waterproof cable connection solutions are offered with the HD510
PTZ camera. If the cables run from the ceiling or wall into the camera,
then the connection can be considered waterproof. If the camera is
mounted in a way that exposes the cables, then it is recommended to
waterproof the cables using the included connection glands, along with
conduit or exterior grade Ethernet cable and waterproof tape, which are
NOT included.
For waterproof cable using the conduit gland, you will need:
Conduit gland (included)
Gland rubber ring (included)
½" Flexible conduit (not included)
Waterproof tape (not included)

Disassemble the cable gland.
Gland Body

Clamping Nut
Sealing Rubber

Insert the Ethernet cable through the conduit. Then insert the
conduit through the clamping nut.
7.
Slide the sealing rubber over the Ethernet and attach the
sealing rubber to the end of the conduit.
4.
Attach one rubber ring (included) on the gland body.
