E&M Configuration for One T1
If no more than 12 pairs of modems are required, a
single T1 circuit can accommodate both cellular and
PSTN access. For example, time slots 1 through 12 can be
assigned to odd-numbered ports on the E&M cards (and
cellular modems in odd-numbered slots in the carrier), and
time slots 13 through 24 can be assigned to
even-numbered ports (and PSTN modems in
even-numbered slots).

for operation with a single T1 circuit.
Select Save from the menu of actions at the bottom of
the screen to save the changes. Then select Test.
The last status line of the Test screen shows the E&M
Signaling Type. Verify that the E&M Signaling Type is V.
