E&M Configuration for Two T1s
All ports are configured identically, except for WAN
and time slot (TS) number. Additionally, all odd port
numbers on all cards are configured to use WAN1-1, and
all even port numbers on all cards are configured to use
WAN1-2. Finally, every pair of ports is configured for the
same time slot value (on opposite WANs.)
Table 5-2 shows the configuration for the first
E&M card (located in user slot U1). Only the State,
WAN, and TS options differ from the factory
default settings.

Tables 5-3 through 5-7 show the settings for the rest
of the E&M cards (in slots U2 through U6). The
settings are the same as those in U1 except for the
time slot values.
Select Save from the menu of actions at the bottom of
the screen to save the changes. Then select Test.
The last status line of the Test screen shows the E&M
Signaling Type. Verify that the E&M Signaling Type is V.
